Braintree Woman Charged with Trying to Sneak Drug-Filled Bra into Dedham Jail

Police say Jessalyn Price tried to smuggle the drugs into the jail to give to her boyfriend.

DEDHAM, MA — A Braintree woman faces charges after allegedly trying to smuggle drugs into a jail by hiding them in her bra.

Jessalyn Price, 22, was arrested Monday and arraigned Tuesday. She was charged with possessing Suboxone with intent to distribute, conspiracy to violate drug law, and delivering contraband into a correctional facility. She is free on $1,500 bail.

Norfolk County sheriff's office spokesman David Weber told the Patriot Ledger that Price was arrested Monday at the Dedham jail after police learned during a monitored call with her boyfriend, an inmate in the jail, that she was going to sneak 20 strips of Suboxone into the facility by stuffing them into her bra and giving them to her boyfriend during a contact visit.
