Dedham Native Appointed to WID Board of Directors

Andrea Finnerty, of Dedham, was one of six appointed to the non-profit's board.

Women in Development of Greater Boston (WID) recently appointed six new members to its board of directors, including a woman from Dedham.

Andrea Finnerty, of Dedham, was appointed as executive director for the New England region of the National Kidney Foundation.

Finnerty previously worked for Helping Hands: Monkey Helpers for the Disabled Inc. There she served as the company’s chief development officer.

WID is a nonprofit that “offers a variety of programs, services and opportunities for volunteer involvement. Members help one another develop and improve professional skills, share information about employment opportunities, and foster a climate which promotes professional achievement,” the company’s website states.
