At 3:07 p.m. a car accident was reported. A driver stated he was traveling east on Pine Street and a plow truck pulled out onto Pine Street as the car operator was approaching Stivaletta Drive. The driver of the car moved to the right side of his lane to give the plow truck room but struck the snow banks on the side of the road while doing so. This caused him to lose control of his vehicle in the snow and he struck a utility pole. The force brought down the wires attached to the pole. Nobody was injured.

At approximately 7 p.m., a caller filed a suspicious person report. She reported that a husky white male in his fifties came up to her vehicle at the Dedham Parks and Recreation Department and pounded on the windows of her car with an odor of alcohol on his breath. He reportedly yelled expletives at her and said “You do this every week.” The caller noted to police that she did cause his anger by blocking the lane or blocking his vehicle with her vehicle. A staff member, who was not on scene, knew of the person the caller was reporting. It is believed that the man knocking on the car windows is the father of the caller.

At 7:20 p.m., a woman reported a lost/stolen iPhone 6. She said she was at the Showcase Cinema in Dedham watching a movie from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. When she left she realized she did not have her phone and went back into the theater to try and locate it. She returned to where she was seated and asked management if any iPhones were turned in and they said no. She went to the Apple Store in Dedham to attempt to ping her iPhone at around 5 p.m. She returned home to ping her phone after logging into her iCloud account. The phone is a white iPhone 6. The cinema management will notify police if her phone turns up.
