Dedham Police Log: Fake Check, Shoplifting and More
The following is from the Dedham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

May 18
12:37 p.m. - A shoplifter was reported at Ocean State Job Lot on Providence Highway. The suspect was told not to return and was advised that she would be arrested if she came back to the store.
1:32 p.m. - Two people were reportedly caught shoplifting at Sears on Providence Highway. The two were not arrested but police will be seeking a criminal complaint against them.

2:59 p.m. - Malicious damage was reported at a Dedham business. The caller told police that one of the windows had a large crack. The crack may have been caused by paving that took place nearby.
May 19

1:56 p.m. - A shoplifter was reported at BJ’s on Providence Highway. A witness told police that the suspect ran from the store and into a vehicle that went north.
4:10 p.m. - A woman attempting to cash a fraudulent check was reported at Bule Hills Bank. When an employee checked their records, it was discovered that the suspect, Norann Riley 55, had attempted to pass fraudulent check in the past. She was arrested by police.
May 20
1:15 p.m. - A shoplifter was reported at TJ Maxx on Providence Highway. Higinie Cruz, 23, was arrested and charged with shoplifting.
