Dedham Police Log: Running Car Stolen from Driveway

Friday, Jan. 16
A woman came into the station reporting that she found a camera at Vine Rock and Riverdale Road.

Sunday, Jan. 18
A stolen vehicle was reported on High Street at 7:09 p.m. The vehicle owner stated that at approximately 6:20 p.m. he parked his green 2010 Hyundai Elantra in his driveway and left the vehicle running. He stated he went inside the residence for only a couple of minutes and when he went back outside the vehicle was gone.

Monday, Jan. 19
A car accident was reported at 7:44 a.m. The driver was traveling northbound on Providence Highway in the area of the Exit 15 off-ramp when the driver lost control of the vehicle due to black ice on the roadway. The car bounced off the inside concrete barrier two to three times before rolling over and landing back upright. The driver was transported by EMS with hand and leg pain. The car had moderate damage on the driver’s side, hood and roof.
