Dedham Police Log: Shoplifting, Smashing Pumpkins, and More

October 29
4:15 p.m. - An assault was reported near Tedeschi Food Shops on Cedar Street.
7:06 p.m. - A woman removing security tags from clothes at Dick’s Sporting Goods was reported. After police arrived, Moneika Graham was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation and giving a false name to police following an arrest. She also had two active warrants.

10:56 p.m. - An officer responded to the area around Sherman and Altoona Roads for a report of a youth fight. Police saw several teens running from the area and smashed pumpkins in the street. Three teens told police that they saw some older teens smashing pumpkins and some of them may have been fighting. Police were unable to find the other teens.

October 30
2:13 p.m. - A woman on Leonard Street told police that someone completely smashed in her passenger side window.
