Dedham Seeks Candidates for Several Town Positions

As of July 9, the Town of Dedham is seeking candidates to fill positions on the School Committee, Cemetery Advisory Committee, Board of Assessors and Cultural Committee.

School Committee:

One Member

One (1) unexpired three year term to expire with the 2016 Annual Town Election.

Meetings are the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month at 7:00 p.m. at Avery School.

Cemetery Advisory Committee:

One Member

One (1) three year term to expire 2018

Generally, meetings are held once a month, beginning at 6:00 P.M. at Town Hall.

Board of Assessors:

One Member

One (1) unexpired three year term to expire with the 2016

Meetings are generally held monthly, or on an as needed basis, at Town Hall.

Cultural Council:

Two Vacancies

Three year terms to expire 2018

Generally, the Council meets to discuss and review applications; meetings are held at Town Hall.

Any person who desires to be considered for appointment for this position must respond

between July 9th and July 19th; interested persons shall file with the Board of Selectmen,

his/her name and residential address, and a resume and/or statement which sets forth in

clear and specific terms the qualifications he/she holds for the position.
