Dedham TV Nominated For Two Emmys

The channel is nominated for Outstanding Musical Composition and Best Audio Production in the Boston/New England region.

Dedham TV is pleased to announce National Academy of the Arts and Sciences (Boston/New England Region) Emmy nominations in two categories this year. The first is --Outstanding Musical Composition-- for Terry Sinskie, Maggie Hamel and Brian Kerby for "The Shelter Song." Composed by Terry, and performed by Terry, Maggie, and Brian, "The Shelter Song" is a composition of original lyrics and music written for a Public Service Announcement to promote pet adoption from animal shelters. Dedham TV's Director of Operations Dan Hallissey shot the footage in Massachusetts and Maine. Produced and edited by Brian Kerby, the PSA featured several area animal shelters and rescue organizations, as well as successfully adopted shelter pets with their forever families.

The second Emmy nomination is for Brian Kerby and 502 Sessions in the Audio Production category. 502 Sessions is an original music program produced and edited by Brian Kerby, featuring musicians and bands performing their original music.

502 Sessions can be viewed at 502sessions.com, and The Shelter Song PSA is on Youtube. This is Terry and Maggie's second Emmy® nomination, and Brian's third.
