Driver Avoids Cat, Hits Pole Instead

DEDHAM, MA — A driver in Dedham was able to avoid a cat, but didn't have the same luck when it came to a pole.

Wednesday, the Dedham Police Department posted a photo of a vehicle that struck a pole on Sherwood Street. Police say that the car hit the pole in an attempt to avoid a stray cat.

Only minor injuries were reported at the scene.
