Gas Leaks, E. Coli, Rape Allegations, Car Break-Ins: 2015 Dedham Year in Review
With 2015 in the books, we take a look back at the year's top stories from Dedham Patch.

While it wasn’t always good news, there were no shortage of headlines coming out of Dedham Patch in 2015.
One of the most notable stories broke in June, when Niagara Bottling LLC was forced to recall bottled water due to a spring which was potentially contaminated with E. Coli. The company supplies several Massachusetts stores including Wegmans, Shaws, 7-Eleven and Big Y. The company maintained that their product was safe, but urged customers not to consume the water.

- Noble and Greenough Student Dies Suddenly at Field Hockey Practice: A Noble and Greenough student passed away at field hockey practice in October. Casey Dunne, 16, suffered a brain hemorrhage which resulted in her death.
- Roslindale Woman Killed While Walking on I-95 in Dedham: A Roslindale Woman was killed while walking in travel lanes on I-95 in Dedham in November. Police still have not identified why she was walking in travel lanes.
- Fisher Cat Spotted in Dedham: A Fisher cat was spotted in Dedham’s Manor area in July. The cat was described as aggressive and not intimidated by humans.
- Woman Killed, Two Hurt in Dedham House Fire: Lynne O’Brien, 52, was killed in a house fire back in August. Two other residents were treated for minor injuries.
- Police Seek Suspects Wanted for 40 Car Breaks in Dedham: Police started an investigation in August for suspects of 40 car break-ins in Dedham. Investigators say that suspects stole everything in sight and flipped the items for cash.
- Dedham Woman Saved Roommates Before Dying in Fire: O’Brien, who died in August’s house fire, saved two of her roommates before passing away in the fire.
