Hour-by-Hour Forecast: Scattered Thunderstorms Expected Tuesday

Scattered Thunderstorms are expected to move through Eastern Massachusetts on Tuesday. A few storms could be severe in nature.

Forecasters say storms will crop up during the morning commute before dying down come midmorning. Storms are expected to return around lunchtime. Skies will clear for much of the afternoon, but the threat for stormy weather will return around 6 p.m.

Temperatures will reach a high of 88 degrees. High humidity will make for a soupy and oppressive conditions.

The chance for rain is set at 60 percent. Winds will blow at 15 mph out of the southwest.
