It's a Tie! Question 4 Draws in Dedham

Voters in Dedham equally supported and opposed a ballot question to legalize Marijuana.

DEDHAM, MA — What are the odds of a draw?

While Question 4 passed statewide, it was a bit closer in Dedham. In fact, it was as close as you can get with without one side taking a lead.

According to the unofficial results from the Dedham Town Clerk's office, both yes and no gathered 7,119 votes. 303 voters left the question blank.

Question 4 asked voters to legalize Marijuana.

In the other questions, Dedham went with the state in defeating Question 1, which would have created another slot parlor license; against Question 2, an initiative to lift the charter school cap, and in support of Question 3, which changes the laws for farm animal captivity.
