Letter to the Editor: Parks & Recreation Commissioner Jim Maher Asks for Your Support
Maher is hoping for another term as a park & recreation commissioner

The following is a letter to the editor. If you would like to submit your own letter, you can email Dedham Patch Editor Dan Libon at Dan.Libon@patch.com.
A number of my supporters, friends and family have asked me if I would be having a campaign kick-off party and my answer to everyone is, “I find it very difficult to ask people for money to support my re-election campaign when it’s a position & job that I love volunteering for in Dedham.” I’ve been on the Parks & Recreation Commission for 15 years and every year has been exciting to see changes and improvements to our
department.

With Parks & Recreation and Open Space Master Plan to be delivered in June, my hope is to be able to help implement those recommended changes and improvements for Dedham. Dedham Recreation has never had a Master Plan before and the Commissioners and staff are excited to see these recommendations for our future.
If you would like to support my re-election bid to the Parks and Recreation Commission, I ask for one of your two votes on Election Day on Saturday, April 8th. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at 781-326-4121.
