Lots Of Open Seats In Dedham Town Election

Some elected officials will face challenges in this spring's election, while many of the seats do not include an incumbent candidate.

DEDHAM, MA — Some elected officials will face challenges in this spring's election, while many of the seats do not include an incumbent seeking reelection.

Selectman James MacDonald is running for another term on the board. He faces a challenge from William Ralph. Jason Brogan was also in the running but withdrew his name from consideration.

All three school committee members up for reelection pulled papers Jan. 24 and almost had a challenge from resident Aidan Flaherty, but he has opted to not run.

Planning board member Ralph Steeves will not run for another term on the board. Jessica Porter and George Panagopoulos will face off for the open seat.
