Overnight Closures Coming for Nearby River Street Bridge in Hyde Park
The renovations will run between 10 p.m. and 5 p.m., officials said.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation plans to resume work on Tuesday to repair the bridge deck that carries River Street over the railroad into Hyde Park.
Work will run between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. and require closure of the bridge during that time period. The bridge will be reopened for vehicular traffic by 5 a.m. each morning; the bridge will be open for pedestrians at all times.
MassDOT also plans to install electronic message boards to alert area residents and businesses of the resumption of the project.
