Police Log: Shoplifters Caught at BJ's, The Paper Store

Tuesday, Feb. 4
At 10:09 a.m., Dedham police responded to Milton Street after receiving a report of a man walking in and out of yards in the area, possibly looking for cans. Upon arrival, police located the man and instructed him to refrain from entering onto private property.

At 6:25 a.m., Dedham Police arrested a Braintree man, aged 36, for possession of a Class B drug and a marked lanes violation.

At 5:32 p.m., police arrested a 25-year-old Roslindale woman on charges of larceny of more than $250 by a single scheme after responding to a report of shoplifting at BJ's Wholesale.
At 8:43 p.m., police charged a 45-year-old Stoughton woman for a third offense of shoplifting by concealing merchandise while at the Paper Store in Legacy Place. Officers spoke with a store manager who stated that the woman had entered the business and removed the tags from several bracelets and placed the items into her coat pocket. The woman allegedly continued shopping and placed several pairs of socks into her purse while placing other items into a shopping basket, according to police records.
