Police Log: Two Arrested on Warrants, One Charged for Drug Possession

The following information was provided by the Dedham Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Wednesday, Feb. 26

At 8:20 a.m., Dedham police arrested Gemma Ashley, 35, of Randolph on a warrant out of Quincy District Court after pulling her vehicle over in the area of River Street. 

At around 3:23 p.m., police received a report of shoplifting at Legacy Place, where $3,400 worth of merchandise was reportedly stolen.

At 9:40 p.m., police received a report of an erratic driver at Legacy Place, where security reported an individual left King's Dedham and turned left onto Rte. 1 southbound. Westwood Police were notified and the vehicle was stopped by MacDonald's on Providence Highway.

At 11:59 a.m., police charged James Feeney, 44, of Dedham in the area of Presidents Way for possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute, distribution of a Class B substance and conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws. 

Friday, Feb. 28

At 8:31 p.m., police arrested Christian Pike, 44, of Dedham in the area of Whiting Avenue on two warrants issued out of Dedham District Court. 

Saturday, March 1

At 3:24 p.m., police charged a 28-year-old Lynn man in the area of Providence Highway for attempt to commit a crime.
