Report: Potential Juror Yells 'Go Pats' at Hernandez Trial

Jury selection has begun in the ex-football player's murder trial.

Jury selection has begun in the first-degree murder trial of former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez.

Hernandez is accused of killing 27-year-old Odin Lloyd in June 2013.

Boston.com reported that a potential juror wearing a Bruins jersey at the murder trial was sent home from court Friday after yelling “Go Pats!” in anticipation of the upcoming Saturday game against the Ravens at Gillette Stadium.

A Superior Court judge ruled in December that no NFL attire is allowed in the courthouse during the trial. That ruling has now extended to all sports attire.
