Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued For Norfolk County

The National Weather service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Norfolk County in Eastern Massachusetts. The warning will last until 4 p.m.

Forecasters say the severe storms are capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph.

Residents in the are are urged to move indoors and to stay away from windows. Drivers should prepare for low visibility and flooded roads.

Temperatures are expected to reach an afternoon high of 90 degrees. They will dip down into the 60s overnight.
