'Shake Shack' and 'Slobbr' Host Fundraisers in Dedham

Dedham, MA – A not to be missed opportunity for dog lovers, Shake Shack® at Legacy Place (950 Providence Hwy, Dedham, MA 02026) is proud to partner with Slobbr, a new app that connects dog owners and lovers with dog friendly places in New York and Boston, to host two events in support of local dogs in need. Taking place on Sunday, September 18th and Wednesday September 21st, both events will benefit Shultz’s Guest House, a nonprofit dog rescue shelter, located on 200 private acres in Dedham, MA.

Sunday September 18, 2016 from 12pm-3pm
Shake Shack and Slobbr will host an outdoor Yappy Hour at Shake Shack Legacy Place in Dedham to support Shultz’s Guest House. Dogs from Shultz’s Guest House will be available for adoption during the event, and Shake Shack will reward all big-hearted dog owners who apply to adopt a dog that day with a "Welcome Home" doggie swag bag. Dogs of all breeds, shapes and sizes are welcome to attend, will be treated to a free Pooch-ini®, a delicious Shake Shack treat made just for pups with biscuits, peanut butter sauce and vanilla custard, and will have the opportunity to compete in a Pooch-ini eating contest for a grand prize.

For the entire day, Shake Shack at Legacy Place will donate 15% of proceeds from every purchase to Shultz’s Guest House when Slobbr is mentioned at check out. Shultz’s Guest House will use the donation to cover such expenses as food, veterinarian check ups, and all other daily needs that keep their dogs happy and healthy while they wait to get adopted.

About Slobbr: Slobbr is a new app that connects dog owners and lovers with dog friendly places in New York and Boston. Users will find a range of places to enjoy with their pooches, from parks, to hotels to restaurants, and most importantly, all users can, with just the tap of a finger, feed a hungry dog in need. Each time a user checks into a dog friendly place on the Slobbr app, Slobbr will dontate a half a cup of Kibble to a dog in need. A Kibble counter lets users see just how much Kibble has been raised.
