January 18

11:56 a.m. - A break-in was reported on Bridge Street.

3:03 p.m. - A car crash was reported on Country Club Road. Due to an icy surface, the driver lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree.

11:41 p.m. - A vehicle struck a pole on Incinerator Road.

January 19

10:25 a.m. - A two-car collision was reported at the intersection of Walnut Street and Whiting Avenue.

4:44 p.m. - Russell Schwab, 58, was arrested on two warrants.

8:47 p.m. - A fight was reported on Leonard Street.



January 20

12:38 p.m. - A group of youths were seen punching a snowman decoration in front of a home. Two of the youths claimed they were messing with their friend while another said he did not know who lived in the house. They were advised not to damage the property and continue on their way.

4:17 p.m. - A shoplifter was reported on Providence Highway.

January 21

8:55 a.m. - A vehicle hit a pole on Whiting Avenue.

4:07 p.m. - Police responded to a reported juvenile shoplifter on Bussey Street. Loss prevention told police that the suspect allegedly took a pack of Mike n’ Ikes and a bag of beef jerky. The juvenile was transported back to his home and told not to return to the store.
