Two Officers Join Dedham Police Department
Thursday night, Steven Feeley and Daniel Sullivan were sworn in as members of the Dedham Police Department.
DEDHAM, MA — Two new officers will now join the ranks of Dedham’s finest.
Thursday night, Steven Feeley and Daniel Sullivan were sworn in as members of the Dedham Police Department. Both officers come to the department as graduates of the Boston Police Academy.
Feeley graduated from Saint Sebastian's School in 2008. As a member of the US Air Force, he worked extensively in radio and satellite communications, according to Police Chief Michael D'Entremont. In the Air Force, he received several honors including the National Defense Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Medal, and he was named an honor graduate.

Sullivan graduated from Dedham High School in 2009 and Boston University in 2013 with honors. Prior to joining the police department, he worked in IT and security. He is also EMT certified.
Afterward the board wished both men luck in their new positions.

“The department has a reputation of being well respected by the residents, they work hard to know the residents, they get out of their cruisers, and I think that’s why they’re respected. I think that the tradition of leadership that you’ll experience is second to none,“ Selectman Michael Butler said.
“We are very grateful you are making this commitment to keep the neighborhood safe.”
