BOYS VARSITY MOVE ON TO SEMI FINALS IN THE SOUTH SECTIONAL WINNING 7 – 0 OVER MASHPEE

Boys win over Mashpee in quarter finals

The boys came to play and boy did they play.  In the first 90 seconds Sr. Captain Walker Littlehale scored the first goal in a very small gap that was left open
assisted by Jr. forward Jake Frankenfield; 90 seconds later Sr. Captain Sean
Forward stuck it in the net assisted by Sr. Captain Steven Aston, and by the
time 9 minutes had gone by in the first half Sr. Captain Perry Fitz put in goal
number three assisted by forward Jr. Peter Burton.  The boys continued on in their goal scoring streak with Sr. forward Geoff Stevens scoring next assisted by Jr. Robert Browne.  The first half ended with goal number five being slowly rolled in by Frankenfield.  The second half continued on with Geoff Stevens and Nick Jeffries both adding a notch on our belt.  DS now moves on to play number 10 seed, Bourne, Thursday evening at 7:15 p.m. at Westwood High.  Jr. Goalie Max Dunn had very few shots on him due to the stellar defense and the halfbacks doing their job in aiding assistance.  The forwards have been tremendous throughout the playoffs.   The Team will remain grounded and continue on in the one-game-at-a-time attitude.  GO DS!!!!!!!!!!
