2 Charged In Connection To Fatal East Falmouth Stabbing: DA
Neither of the people arraigned in the case so far face murder charges despite the fact that Corey Lowe died from his wounds.
FALMOUTH, MA — Two people are charged in connection to the stabbing that killed a Falmouth man earlier this week, the Cape and Islands District Attorney announced.
James Blood, of Lynn, Massachusetts, and Cynthia Rubin, of Reading, Massachusetts, were arraigned on Thursday in connection to the stabbing of Corey Lowe in Falmouth.
Falmouth police received word that a person was stabbed at a residence in East Falmouth around 11:30 p.m. on Monday. They arrived to find a person "seriously injured," and an ambulance transported Lowe to a Boston-area hospital.

He later died from his wounds.
The District Attorney said a trail of blood led authorities from the residence to a parking spot across the highway, where the trail stopped "abruptly."

Blood was arraigned on charges of home invasion and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Rubin was arraigned on charges of home invasion and two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon.
Both defendants are held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing on Nov. 4.
