2 Charged With Falmouth Car And Home Break-Ins
Police said two Falmouth residents broke into cars and stole a laptop, backpack, watches, credit cards, prescription drugs and more.

FALMOUTH, MA — Two Falmouth residents were arrested after police said they broke into several cars and stole people's belongings. Joshua Lauzon, 25, was charged with several counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property and illegal possession of prescription medication, while Ashley Jordan, 26, was charged with possession of burglarious instruments.
Over the weekend, a dozen cars were broken into in the Maravista area of Falmouth. Police said a laptop, backpack, watches, tools, coins, medication, credit cards and other items were stolen from the vehicles. Residents were notified via social media of the incidents and asked to be on the lookout for suspicious activity and to lock their cars.
On Sunday morning, an officer saw Lauzon and Jordan, who both immediately hid behind a bush on Worcester Court, police said. Police said they stopped them and noticed Lauzon was wearing a backpack that they believed was stolen over the weekend during the car break-ins. Officers search the backpack and said they found prescription medication and other stolen items.

Police searched Lauzon's home at Milton Street and said they found a stolen television, more prescription medication, a gaming system, jewelry, a camera, credit cards and more. Falmouth police believe the items were taken during other car and home break-ins.
Police said Lauzon and Jordan will likely face additional charges.
