Cape Cod Man Still Missing, Sightings Unconfirmed

FALMOUTH, MA — Police say a Cape Cod man who walked away from a home in Barnstable is still missing. Floyd Black Jr., 61, has Alzheimer's and was last seen on Baxter Road in Barnstable Friday.

Black is Black is described as 5-foot-8, 160 pounds. He has family in Falmouth, police said.

There have been numerous reported sightings of Black in Falmouth and nearby communities, but they were either a case of mistaken identity or could not be confirmed, according to police.

"We will continue to vigorously follow up on any reports of him being seen in Falmouth with the goal of reuniting Floyd with his loved ones," police said.
