Cape Cod Times Photojournalist Steve Heaslip to Judge Upper Cape Camera Club Photography Competition

Steve Heaslip will be the judge at the next photography competition for the Upper Cape Cod Camera Club on Wednesday, May 13^th at the Falmouth Art Center. The three image categories for the competition are Fun on Cape Cod, Nature and Open.

Steve has been a photojournalist for over 45 years .He joined The Cape Cod Times on a freelance basis in 1981 and was named its chief photographer in 1994. His work has also appeared in Time, Newsweek, Life, National Geographic and Yankee Magazines. He has won many awards from, among others, the New England Press Association and the National Press Photographers Association.

The Camera Club evening will begin with socializing at 6:30 pm and the meeting will start at 7:00 pm. The public is invited to attend.

The Upper Cape Camera Club meets in person at the Falmouth Art Center or on Zoom on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month from September until June. The Falmouth Art Center is located at 137 Gifford Street, Falmouth.
