Deadline Extended for Woods Hole Woman’s Club Scholarship Applications
New, extended deadline March 17, 2026

The Woods Hole Woman’s Club is offering several $1000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who live in Falmouth's Precinct 1 and will be pursuing further education. Applications may be obtained from school guidance offices and on the Club’s website:

The new, extended deadline for receipt of applications by the scholarship committee is March 17, 2026.

The Woods Hole Woman’s Club, incorporated in 1914 to bring members together for the betterment of the community, currently has over 130 members. It meets monthly from September through May, featuring speakers on a variety of subjects from science to the arts to gardening. The Club raises funds through memberships, sales, and special fund-raising events, distributing funds in the form of annual donations to local non-profit organizations. Beginning in 1927, the Woods Hole Woman’s Club has presented scholarships as a part of its community service. Scholarships have been awarded to deserving local college-bound high school seniors every year since 1980 to a total of 157 graduating seniors.
