Drunken Driver Goes Into Ocean In Falmouth: Police

FALMOUTH, MA — A driver was charged with operating under the influence after driving into the ocean in Falmouth, police said. Around 1 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to the end of Mill Road for a car in the water at Surf Beach.

The car was towed from the ocean and the driver was taken to the hospital. The driver will also face charges of negligent operation, marked lanes violation, stop sign violation and speeding.
