East Falmouth Man Faces Kidnapping Charge
A woman alleged that the 34-year-old was holding her sister against her will.

FALMOUTH, MA – An East Falmouth man has been charged with kidnapping after he allegedly held a woman against her will, according to the Falmouth Enterprise. Police responded to 34-year-old David O'Donnell's home Monday for a restraining order violation after receiving a call from the woman's sister.
The victim told police O'Donnell was "in the house and threatened to kill her," the Enterprise reported. Police surrounded the home and took O'Donnell into custody Monday afternoon after the woman was able to leave.
He is also accused of stealing a man's cell phone. O'Donnell faces charges of kidnapping, assault and battery on a family/household member, violating an abuse prevention order, receiving stolen property under $1,200 (subsequent offense) and intimidation of a witness/juror/police/court official.
