In Falmouth, A Delay In Oystering For West Falmouth Harbor
Town-wide recreational oystering opening on Oct. 1, but officials said West Falmouth Harbor won't open until November.
FALMOUTH, MA — Recreational oystering season is officially upon us on Cape Cod, and that includes everywhere in Falmouth. Well, almost everywhere.
The recreational oystering season opened across Falmouth on Oct. 1, with the exception of West Falmouth Harbor, town officials said.
West Falmouth Harbor, including the Family Area, will not open until a date in November to be determined by the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries at a later date, officials said.
