Next week exterior masonry work starts. Framing continues and roof trusses are scheduled to be brought on site. Steel work in the administration/living area is anticipated, to begin with the placement of two beams and some support columns. After that steel for the framing of the apparatus bay is scheduled for delivery and framing will start."

The new station is over 10,000 sq. ft. and features a three-bay garage.

According to the Falmouth Enterprise, the station would include "a vestibule for patients in need of minor emergency care, six firefighter dorms, a kitchen and dining area, showers, lockers, a wellness room, a patio area and a decontamination area with lockers and showers."

Solar panels would also be installed, with the hopes of powering as much of the station with renewable energy as possible.
