WCVB reports that State Police determined the duo were returning from Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport for a day trip to the western part of the state.

"Because of the fuselage, and the significant amount of metal and you know, debris that was wrapped around the individuals, it took a little bit of time to try (to) at least get most of the debris and metal away from them," Falmouth Fire Chief Timothy Smith said Friday, according to WCVB.
