Falmouth Suspicious Package Was 'Poorly Thought Out' Prank: PD
Police may charge a person whose prank led to the State Police Bomb Squad being called to Falmouth Saturday.
FALMOUTH, MA — A suspicious package found on a resident's lawn over the weekend was a "poorly thought out" prank, police said. Officers went to a home on Boxberry Hill Road Saturday afternoon after the package was left on the lawn.
The State Police bomb squad was also called, according to police.
"It was ultimately determined to be a poorly thought out prank, and nobody was in danger," police said in a statement. "We are continuing to investigate the incident, and charges may be pending."
