Falmouth Swimmer Hospitalized After Being Pulled From Water

FALMOUTH, MA — A 65-year-old man was hospitalized after a lifeguard pulled him from the water off Chapoquoit Beach Monday, according to the Cape Cod Times. The swimmer was in unstable condition when he was rescued shortly before 4 p.m.

He was given CPR at the scene. Emergency crews were told the man had a pulse and blood pressure, the Times reported.

The man was put on advanced life support and taken to Cape Cod Hospital.
