Falmouth Thief Arrested in Bathroom: Police
Falmouth police charged Brandon Patterson in connection with several home break-ins. He was also charged with heroin possession.
FALMOUTH, MA — A serial Falmouth thief was arrested at a local restaurant Friday, police said. Brandon Patterson, 29, was charged with a host of theft- and drug-related crimes.
Officers spotted Patterson in the restaurant as they were executing a search warrant at his residence.
"Patterson ran from police and locked himself in a bathroom," Falmouth police Lt. Douglas DeCosta said in a statement. "Officers were able to gain entry to the bathroom and Patterson was placed in custody following a brief struggle."

Officers said they found multiple items at Patterson's residence from recent home and business break-ins. They also found heroin and dozens of ounces of marijuana, DeCosta said. Among the stolen items police said they found were jewelry, power tools, leaf blowers, laptops, GPS units, coins, and tools.
Patterson was charged with three counts of receiving stolen property, heroin possession, and resisting arrest.
