Access points are monitored and locked to ensure only authorized individuals can enter. There’s a first aid kit and trained staff on hand at all times to handle any emergencies. The classrooms and play areas are spotless, with an abundance of natural light streaming in through large windows. The space is well-organized, with age-appropriate toys, books, and learning materials accessible to children. There’s a cozy reading nook, art stations, and sensory play areas where kids can explore their creativity. Our staff is certified in child development, first aid, and CPR, but they also have a genuine passion for working with children. BOURNE, MA — The suspect in a violent attempted kidnapping in Bourne last week has been arrested. Police on Thursday arrested John Allen, 18, of Bourne. On Thursday, November 10, police said Allen approached a 14-year-old girl walking to her bus stop at about 6:50 a.m. in Bourne. "She was grabbed from behind and thrown to the ground," Bourne police said in a statement. The suspect then grabbed her by the neck — at which point a Good Samaritan intervened and Allen fled in a vehicle. Police said they identified Allen as the suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest. He was charged with aggravated attempted kidnapping, strangulation, and assault. "As this investigation is still ongoing, further details and statements regarding the investigation will not be released by the Bourne Police Department at this time," police said.
