Hatchville Fire Station Nearing Completion, Officials Say
Officials said the project is 85 percent complete with some final reviews beginning to happen.
FALMOUTH, MA — The Hatchville Fire Station project is nearing completion, according to Falmouth fire officials.
In an update late last week, officials said the project is 85 percent complete, with some final reviews beginning to take place.
"Building system start-ups and balancing are ongoing," officials said. "The architect, the General Contractor, and the subcontractors are starting the punch list review. Landscaping will be finished next week. Things are looking good."

The new station is over 10,000 sq. ft. and features a three-bay garage.
According to the Falmouth Enterprise, the station would include "a vestibule for patients in need of minor emergency care, six firefighter dorms, a kitchen and dining area, showers, lockers, a wellness room, a patio area and a decontamination area with lockers and showers."

Solar panels would also be installed, with the hopes of powering as much of the station with renewable energy as possible.
