Housing Assistance to Hold Info Session for Three-Bedroom Home in Falmouth
New home on Josiah Path will be available through a lottery for qualified applicants.
Housing Assistance invites potential homeowners to a virtual info session for a new home in Falmouth on Thursday, April 16, at 5:30 p.m. Interested homebuyers can register for the info session, which will be held on Zoom, at haconcapecod.org/lotteries.
The brand new three-bedroom (including a first-floor primary suite), 2.5-bathroom house is located at 19 Josiah Path, off Brick Kiln Road. Features include a one-car garage, a full basement, professional landscaping and an in-ground sprinkler system. The neighborhood is close to Falmouth High School and the new YMCA.
Housing Assistance is overseeing the lottery. The house will be sold for $290,000 (with $150 monthly HOA fee) to an eligible applicant whose income does not exceed 80% of Area Median Income (AMI). First time homebuyer, income, and asset restrictions apply. 1-person: $74,800; 2-persons: $85,450; 3-persons: $96,150; 4-persons: $106,800; 5-persons: $115,350; and 6-persons: $123,900. Household assets must be no more than $75,000.

Applications for the lottery can be found online at haconcapecod.org/lotteries. Printed copies are available at Housing Assistance’s offices in Hyannis and Orleans.
The deadline to apply is Friday, May 22, at 5 p.m. The lottery drawing will be held within 30 days of the application deadline.
