MASHPEE, MA — A 14-month-old Mashpee boy was struck by a car and killed Friday night, authorities said. The crash happened at about 5:30 p.m. on Coombs Lane; the boy was transported to Falmouth Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, <a href="http://whdh.com/news/14-month-old-child-hit-and-killed-by-pickup-truck-in-mashpee/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">according to WHDH</a> The cause of the crash is under investigation. No charges have been announced against the driver. The incident was an "unimaginable tragedy," Mashpee police said in a statement.
