Longtime Falmouth Police Officer Retires After Two Decades On The Job

Officer Dean Eisen will retire after a career that spanned over two decades and began with the department's reserve officers.

FALMOUTH, MA — A longtime Falmouth police officer has worked his last shift with the department.

Officer Dean Eisen will retire after a career that spanned over two decades and began with the department's reserve officers.

"It is with great honor and pride that the Falmouth Police Department announces the retirement of Officer Dean Eisen after twenty-plus years with the department," Falmouth police officials said.

Eisen served as a reserve officer from 1998 until his full-time appointment in 2003, officials said.

He was a member of the Mountain Bike Team, the Honor Guard, a firearms instructor, and logistical officer for the S.R.T. Team.

"Officer Eisen, we thank you for your brotherhood, your friendship and of course, your dry humor. You were a pleasure to work with and you will be missed," officials said.

"Best of luck in your retirement, time to relax and enjoy."
