Lying by Omission: Democrats & Wind Turbines

Massachusetts is a heavily Democratic single party blue state. The state has adopted a renewable energy policy of 2000 megawatts of renewable energy by the year 2020. The state has a dense population near the wind resources such as Falmouth.

In order to place commercial megawatt turbines in this location and other locations such as Mattapoisett residential property rights and the health of abutters had to be taken to install commercial wind turbines in residential neighborhoods.

They always knew there was a problem with commercial wind turbines and residential abutters.

Falmouth has just had a letter released that proves state, local officials, contractors, Vestas Wind Company had always known about noise and a missing video with statements over 6 million in stimulus funds from September 12, 2012 has never been found. Falmouth Wind II was built with ARRA funds.

Mattapoisett never got any wind turbines because at least 14 omissions were found in reports prior to the installation. One was that there were no Important Bird Areas near the wind turbine locations. Ram Island in Mattapoisett is the chief nesting area of Roseate Terns in North America. In addition out of date maps, use of the metric system etc. You had to look for what was not in the report. What was missing was found and there are NO wind turbines in Mattapoisett

In 2012 Governor Patrick faced criticism for a report from the Department of Public Health and Department of Environmental Protection on the health effects of wind turbines. He appointed wind turbine advocates to do a study in which they met three times and never examined a single victim.

Folks. The commercial wind industry and the trust of all our state and local officials needs to be examined.

The examination needs to take place through the court system. The court system is the only hope of some government agency watching out for our basic freedoms, rights, health and the American Dream of home ownership

.Five Falmouth doctors staked their reputations on writing a letter about wind turbine noise.
