Man Dies After Car Plunges Into Ocean Off Beach In Falmouth
Police said the car failed to stop at a stop sign, crossed over Menauhant Road, then Menauhant Beach and landed in the ocean on its roof.
FALMOUTH, MA — A 21-year-old Grafton man died Sunday morning after his car plunged into the ocean at a Falmouth beach, police said.
Police said the crash happened just before 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of Central Avenue and Menauhant Road.
According to police, the driver failed to stop at a stop sign on Central Avenue, crossed over Menauhant Road, then Menauhant Beach. The car landed in the ocean on its roofs, police said.

Police said the driver died from injuries sustained during the crash. His identity hasn't been released, as of Sunday night. Police said no one else was in the car.
