The facility features a large, secure outdoor play area with age-appropriate equipment. Children spend plenty of time outdoors, engaging in physical play and exploring nature. There may also be gardening activities. The building is designed with child safety in mind, featuring soft corners, non-toxic materials, and secure fencing around outdoor areas. Access points are monitored and locked to ensure only authorized individuals can enter. There’s a first aid kit and trained staff on hand at all times to handle any emergencies. The classrooms and play areas are spotless, with an abundance of natural light streaming in through large windows. The space is well-organized, with age-appropriate toys, books, and learning materials accessible to children. There’s a cozy reading nook, art stations, and sensory play areas where kids can explore their creativity. Our staff is certified in child development, first aid, and CPR, but they also have a genuine passion for working with children. SANDWICH, MA — A driver was critically hurt in a crash in Sandwich Sunday, according to police. The crash happened at about 12:40 a.m. on Route 130. Police said the driver was in a green 1998 Chevrolet Lumina traveling on the southbound side of the road when for an unknown reason the vehicle veered off the road and struck a tree.The driver was pulled from the wreckage and transported to Cape Cod Hospital. Due to the severity of the driver's injuries, he/she was then transported to Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, where she was listed in critical condition Monday.The driver's identity was not released.
