Tribute To Fallen Soldier Stolen On Cape Cod

MASHPEE, MA – Police are looking for whoever is responsible for stealing a tribute to a fallen soldier on Cape Cod. The silhouette of a praying soldier, put on display by the family of PFC Daniel McGuire, is believed to have been taken overnight from Katian Way. The family noticed it was missing Sunday morning.

McGuire was a Marine who died in Iraq in 2008, according to WHDH.

So far no arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call the Mashpee Police Department at 508-539-1480.
