Unlocked Cars Lead To 'Large Number' Of Cape Cod Break-Ins
Falmouth police said the person they believe is responsible was arrested and found in possession of "multiple" stolen items.
FALMOUTH, MA — If your car was parked on a number of Falmouth streets in Falmouth overnight on Saturday into Sunday, it's possible there could be some items missing.
Falmouth police reported a "large number" of car break-ins overnight on those two days this weekend. The break-ins occurred on Marsvista Avenue, Robbins Road, Scranton Avenue, Jericho Path and all side streets in that area.
Police said all break-ins happened to cars that were unlocked at the time of the incident.

However, police have taken a suspect into custody and that person was found in possession of "multiple" stolen items.
Police ask people with items missing from their cars to contact the department. They also offered an advisory to those who were affected by the incident.

"In order to further protect yourself and your belongings we advise you lock your vehicles, even if they are unattended for a short time," police said.
