Upper Cape Camera Club to Present "Real People Portraits with Bobbi Lane"

The Upper Cape Cod Camera Club’s program on Wednesday, May 27^th at the Falmouth Art Center will feature “Real People Portraits with Bobbi Lane”.

Widely known as “The Mistress of Light,” Bobbi teaches how to photograph everyday people beautifully, with no fancy styling or heavy retouching required. At this meeting, participants will learn to analyze a subject and choose the right concept — flattering, business or dramatic— and then master lighting and posing techniques that work for any face.

Bobbi is an award-winning commercial photographer specializing in creative portraits on location and in the studio. Her multi-faceted approach to photography reflects over 35 years of technical experience with innovative artistic interpretation. As a dedicated photo educator, Bobbi brings insight and enthusiasm to her students in workshops held worldwide.

The Camera Club evening will begin with socializing at 6:30 pm and the meeting will start at 7:00 pm. The public is invited to attend.

The Upper Cape Camera Club meets in person at the Falmouth Art Center or on Zoom on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month from September until June. The Falmouth Art Center is located at 137 Gifford Street, Falmouth.
