Here's why you may have seen smoke rising above the area Friday.

FALMOUTH, MA – Did you see smoke rising over the Falmouth area on Friday? If you did, there's nothing to worry about.
Police said the Department of Conservation and Recreation is conducting a large controlled burn on the Crane Wildlife area between Rt. 151 and Joint Base Cape Cod.
Residents and drivers may see "large amounts" of smoke rising above the area, according to police.
