As requested by participants at the previous edition in Malmö, Sweden, the WindEurope is organising the 3rd edition of its Wind Turbine Sound technology workshop.
Organised by the industry and for the industry, with an international scope and well established in the acoustic community, this workshop is unique in its category.
In the frame of this workshop, WindEurope and the programme committee organise a Sound Propagation International Comparison Exercise (SPICE). Data are available for download and the deadline for submission of results will be mid-October. Results will be presented at the workshop.

Topics

The event will have common threads running through the different sessions: Amplitude modulation (AM/OAM), Low-frequency sounds (LFS), Sound levels and Tones.
A call for abstracts closed on 22 May.
The topics for the call for abstracts were:

• National guidelines
• Real-world noise measurements
• Wind farm design, siting and operations
• Wind turbine design
