It meets monthly from September through May, featuring speakers on a variety of subjects from science to the arts to gardening. The Club raises funds through memberships, sales, and special fund-raising events, distributing funds in the form of annual donations to local non-profit organizations. Beginning in 1927, the Woods Hole Woman’s Club has presented scholarships as a part of its community service. Scholarships have been awarded to deserving local college-bound high school seniors every year since 1980 to a total of 157 graduating seniors.
